Do-Cut Sells Many Brands of Residential Leaf Blowers:

  • Stihl
  • Husqvarna
  • Toro
  • Ego
  • Little Wonder
  • Billy Goat

These high-quality brands offer residential leaf blowers with either gasoline powered engines, or battery-powered motors.  Leaf blowers can be hand-held, backpack or walk-behind.

  • Hand-held leaf blowers are so convenient that you can practically throw away your broom.  Blowers can be used to blow leaves, blow a light dusting of snow, off of your car, blow out your garage, shed, blow off your driveway, and  sidewalks. If you put a gutter kit on your leaf blower, you can even clean your gutters while standing safely on the ground.
  • Battery-powered blowers are lighter, and some are not quite as powerful as their gasoline powered counterparts, but they still get the job done.  Some battery-powered residential blowers have batteries integrated into the unit.  A blower with an integrated battery is meant to be used in a very small area.  These leaf blowers have to be plugged in to recharge the battery, and the battery is not removeable in this type of blower.
  • The most popular type of battery-powered residential blower is one with a removeable battery.  Typically, when you purchase this type of blower, it comes with a battery and charger.  It’s always a good idea to have an extra battery on hand to finish the job in case your blower runs out of juice before you’ve had the chance to finish blowing the leaves!  Batteries for this type of residential blower range in size from 30-volt, 56- volt, and 60-volt and also come in different amp hour sizes such as 2.5ah, 4ah, and 6ah.  The larger the voltage and amp hours on a blower, the longer the run time.  Keep in mind, when using larger batteries the blower will be heavier.  Do-Cut Sales and Service carries battery-powered leaf blowers made by Stihl, Toro and Ego.
  • Gasoline powered leaf blowers are available in hand-held, backpack and walk-behind.  Hand-held and backpack gasoline blowers all have 2-cycle engines where you mix the gasoline and oil together for proper engine lubrication.  You have to use the correct oil and gasoline mixture in this type of blower for it to run correctly.  You should always use fresh gas when beginning to use this blower for the season, and when you are done using it, you should run it out of gas to avoid costly engine repairs next season.
  • Handheld leaf blowers come in a variety of sizes, and some even have different nozzles that provide more precise air control and higher air volume too.  Backpack leaf blowers are similar in power to handheld blowers, but you wear them on your back.  These blowers provide the user with a little more freedom of movement and comfort with padded shoulder straps and the trigger on the tube.  Remember, you should always wear hearing protection when using a leaf blower.
  • Many homeowners use a handheld blower to blow leaves out of their flower beds and into the yard before mowing the grass.  Their mower can then mulch the leaves, or bag the leaves if their mower has a bagging system installed.
  • Walk-behind leaf blowers are meant to be used on a larger yard with a lot of leaves.  These blowers move a lot of air and can easily handle wet or dry leaves.  This type of residential leaf blower has air flow control typically on the handle – the air can come out the front of the nozzle or the side of the nozzle.  Walk-behind blowers are at minimum 6 hp and have a gasoline engine that takes separate oil and separate gas – no mixing together like on the handheld blowers.  You will still need to use a handheld blower to get the leaves from those hard-to-reach areas. Your walk-behind blower can do the rest of the heavy work.  These walk-behind blowers aren’t too heavy, and they have comfortable handles, easy-to use controls and pneumatic or semi-pneumatic tires for easier maneuvering.  Do-Cut carries walk-behind leaf blowers made by Little Wonder and Billy Goat.
  • If you don’t have to put the leaves and lawn debris at the curb for garbage collection, a leaf blower is the way to go.  You do not have to touch those dirty leaves at all.  Just blow them into the area around your house and let nature decompose them!  Whether you choose a handheld blower or a walk behind blower, you can retire the rake and make quick work of your yard work.  Even if you have to bag the lawn debris and leaves for garbage collection, using a blower will make that job easier.  Blow those leaves onto a tarp, or into an area of your yard and then pack them up for collection.  If you’re lucky enough to live in a town that has curbside leaf removal, your blower will move the leaves to the curb quickly and easily.

Do-Cut Sales and Service has the right residential leaf blower for you.  Let our friendly, professional staff help you make the right choice.  Battery or gasoline, handheld, backpack or walk behind.  No matter which leaf blower you choose, you will be happy to throw away the rake and eliminate that back-breaking job of leaf removal.
