Gas Powered Post Drivers
Let’s talk about Rhino gas powered post drivers.
- All Rhino gas powered post drivers are powered by reliable, powerful Honda 4-cycle engines, have vibration dampening technology and padded grips for ease of handling.
- The Rhino Ranch Pro post driver will drive ground rods, t-posts, concrete form pins and 1 5/8” posts. This post driver is a must for farms where t-posts for farm fencing needs to be installed. It will drive into multiple soil types and even tough, frozen ground. There are optional ¾” and 1” adapters available for the Ranch Pro GPD30 post driver.
- This post driver cannot drive square tube, channel post, wood post or tent stakes.
- At 35 pounds, it is very portable, and can be easily operated by one person.
- The Rhino Fence Pro post driver is a must have for fence installers. This post driver is equipped with a 2.5” master chuck, and a 2” adapter. It can drive t-posts, ground rods, form pins and inch to 2 3/8” using the proper adapters.
- To drive ½” to 7/8” rods, pins or stakes with the Fence Pro GPD40 post driver, you will need to purchase an optional 1” adapter. An optional 1 ¾” adapter is also required to drive 1” to 1 5/8” round posts and t-posts.
- This post driver cannot drive square tube, channel post, wood post or tent stakes.
- This lightweight post driver is easy to maneuver and great for installing fencing used for erosion control, agricultural containment, and residential fences.
- The most versatile post driver in the Rhino line-up is the GPD45 Multi Pro post driver. This post driver comes with 1”, 1 ¾” and 2” adapters so it will drive ½” to 7/8” rods, pins, stakes, and 1” to 2 3/8” round posts and t-posts.
- It has a tubular, wrap around handle with anti-vibration technology, padded handles and a larger body. The hammer and anvil provides 35% more hitting power than the Fence Pro GPD40 post driver.
- There are numerous adapters available to drive square posts, channel posts, tent stakes and even wooden posts. An extended anvil is required to drive these optional post types.
- This high-powered post driver also has shock resistant, heat-treated steel components, double sided, sealed bearings on all rotating parts, and a removable lower handle.
- The GPD45XA, Multi Pro XA (extended anvil) is a versatile, powerful driver, and is equipped with the same adapters and driving capabilities as the GPD45 Multi Pro mentioned above. This post driver comes with an extended anvil.
- If you need to install “u” channel or square posts, this is the post driver for you. Within the Rhino family, only a post driver with an extended anvil can drive “u” channel, square posts, and wood posts. Depending on the application, the addition of the correct master chuck, chuck adapter, drive caps or chucks is necessary.
- If you need a post driver to only install channel posts, the GPD45XACP is what you need. This dedicated channel post driver is equipped with the extended anvil channel post chuck, and a top-mounted throttle for easier installation of break-away posts. With the purchase of the proper adapters, this post driver can also be adapted to drive square posts or wooden posts.
- Rhino even makes a post driver specifically for tent installers. It comes with a top throttle and tent stake adapter to easily drive tent stakes.
There are many optional accessories available for your post driver. Top throttle, extended handles for driving tall posts, and many different adapters. Proper maintenance is a must. Model-specific maintenance kits are available too.
Pneumatic and Hydraulic Post Drivers
Pneumatic and hydraulic post drivers are available for larger industries and municipalities. This post driver can install things from posts to sea wall, and large guard rails.
- An air compressor is needed to operate a pneumatic post driver, and a hydraulic source is needed to operate a hydraulic post driver. The operating source can be a skid loader or any type of vehicle with hydraulics. Rhino also has a portable hydraulic source available.
